The function of the Training Department is two fold. First, we will try to provide you with the Rating and General Naval Knowledge skills and training to assist you in making rate. Second, we will involve all Unit members in training as a group to better support the gaining command during exercises, and by extention, in time of war.
We cannot do this alone. It will require dedication and the use of between drill hours, by all hands, to make it happen.
Together, we will continue to build a first class unit.
On this site you will find the monthly and annual training schedules. Your first priority each drill weekend is to ensure you are prepared for the drill PRIOR to arrival. Evaulations should be prepared and available on a diskette to hand in, the Center Plan of the Month should be reviewed so that you will be prepared to complete any and all outstanding requirement before securing on Sunday, and you should be prepared to provide any assigned or have found a shipmate to replace you.
